    GC Status:

    I am seeing that reedandbamboo is considering for EB2 only. We have to include EB3 too for law-suit. I beleive that we will have more than 1000 people if we inlcude all categories.

    I will give 200$( 100$ for me and 100 $ for my wife)

    Ofcourse all categories are included...EB2/EB3, I/C/ROW...anyone who is unhappy with USCIS random processing and retrogression of the dates is welcome to join the fight.

    We are not collectiong money yet..just a pledge. As soon as we hit the required # of pledges, then we start the money collection. This will ensure that it is not one those efforts that starts, but gets buried due to people not participating. If we do not have enough people interested to fund a lawsuit...we don't move forward....simple !!! The helpless situation we have been put into...has to be backed by numbers.

    Guys

    These discussions about what you and i think about whether Bs or Ms is more important is totally pointless. First off this bill has yet to be brought up for discussion. Secondly any bill bringing any relief is good at this point in time.

    We are arguing and debating endlessly about a bill that may never even see daylight. I think the more important thing to do is, try and get this bill to be brought up for discussion.

    Simple example. If there are 20 people in the queue ahead of u and a the shopkeeper opens another fresh queue, whether ur part of queue 1 or queue 2 ur still looking at a smaller queue. Who is to say which queue will be longer? Do we have any stats that say out of the 300,000 legals waiting how may have and have not an advanced degree. For all you know the queue with Just the bachelors may end up being shorter. I am sure a LOT of us just on IV have come here on F1 and then went on to get H1s.

    Lastly i have a question about SKIL. When you say people with advanced degrees will not be counted against the quota, what EXACTLY does that mean? Does it mean that ppl with advanced degrees who have Not been able to apply for 485 can now apply regardless of PD? OR does it mean that the PD still applies but people who have applied will move quicker as they are not counted against the quota?

    saw an interesting video on youtube the other day. The first thing that came to mind was the eb2-eb3 fights. If only we can fight together rather than each other ! ;)

    I will have to check with my attorney. But, my I-140 approval came from TSC but my I-485 application was sent to NSC.

    If anyone else has had a similar experience, please post your update here.

    Per my attorney - If the I140 approval came from TSC, you can send your AOS to TSC directly. Hope this helps.

    but these numbers you quote are certifications not applications right? many applications during these years may be in BECs? and does this include both EB3, EB2 and other categories ??

    That lawsuit Idea is still very much alive but not relevant to this. Plus that idea will take some time. I also don't beleive I had been unethical.

    The bottomline, you would agree, the reason we all are lurking on this forum is to get our GC. I can assure you and the other core members of one thing, I will not do anything which is I beleive is unethical on not within the boundaries of the law.





    The other day you spent the entire day answering every question(s) people had. I even told my wife that our good friend is going to take all our worries out pretty soon. EB2 will no longer going accept porting so we will go faster and then guess what you didn't even file the law suit yet....you let us down!!

    I have a humble suggestion for you, please concentrate on your work and read some books on ethics and leave the GC processing to CIS.

    Call USCIS on 1-800-375-5283. Then sequence to get the "Human" on line is 1-2-2-6-2-2-1.

    They asked me to wait 90 days before calling in with questions related to Receipt notice. They are advised now that it will at least take 90 days to get the receipt notices completed.

    We received our two year EAD from TSC on August 4th. RD and ND June 18th. No worries for two years.

    BTW my PD has been current since August 1.

    i agree with u gc4me. he seems to be one among my employer's company. if u see, he has replied only for this post, nothing other than this post. except this issue, he doesn't seem to be interested in any other issues in this forum..earlier he said his friend paid $350 for evaluation of non compete and now he says he himself paid $350 to attorney. how can anyone be 9 yrs on
    h1b. its only max of 6+ 7th yr extension. its not that i want to hear what i want to hear, but people come up here for genuine opinions of members here. so gcbikari(i doubt u r a desi emplyer), please dont use ur strategy of scaring the employees to death. that will spoil the whole essense of the forum.

    Hello,

    As my lawyer has used his checks to pay my 485/765/131 fees, there is no way of knowing whether the checks have been cashed. I did called my attorney a couple of times last week and he told me that checks are NOT yet cashed.

    So I'm still waiting to hear from the lawyer abt the receipts.

    And it looks like your package was handled at NSC itself, instead of getting transfered to TSC or CSC, hence the LIN#.

    I will let you know once my receipts are in.

    My PD is Sep 2002. There are different limits:

    Break even limit
    Fatigue limit
    Endurance limit

    I am on last one :)
